We are very proud to have received an Autism NI Education Champion Award.
Our staff, along with the staff at Little Acorns playgroup, took part in training to develop our understanding of autism and how we can support children within our school community. Miss Barton and Jasmine Barber, the previous play group leader at Little Acorns, developed and implemented an action plan to help make the school and playgroup environments more inclusive and welcoming for our autistic children.
Our dedicated teaching and non teaching staff work hard every day to continue the process of making our school an inclusive, supportive and welcoming community. A big thank you to all of you for all your hard work and commitment.
